ما هي البراغماتية وما هي الأيدولوجية؟

البراغماتية Pragmatism وتعني (النفعيّة) أي العمل بناء على المنفعة وحدها فالمشكلات الأخلاقيّة وغيرها يجب أن يحلها الإنسان بعقله ولا يراعي إلا المنفعة الملموسة.
وهم يضعون البراغماتي مقابل الأيديولوجي، فحينما تقول (هذا أيديولوجي)، أي يتقيد بأفكار وأهداف ثابتة تحدد مواقفه سلفاً،كالوطنية والدين. مقابل (هذا الرجل براغماتي)، أي انه متحرر من كل أيديولوجيا، أو موقف مسبق، ويتصرف -بما ينفعه وفق الظرف والحال.
