يجيب عن هذا السؤال أحد المؤسسين لأبل وهو ستيف جوبز بأن الإدارة خشيت أن يعتقد الناس أن الشعار بندورة "طماطم" أو اي فاكهة أخرى ، فكان القضم فكرة سحرية ليعرف الناس أنها تفاحة.
