Assalam alleykum

Sister asked her bother about his pens and their colors, he said: "All my pens are red colored except 8 pens, also all my pens are blue colored except 6 and all of my pens are green except 4!"

The question here is How many pens the brother has?
And what is the quantity of each color he has (red, blue and green)?

v-8=x
v-6=y
v-4=z
بالجمع

3v-18=x+y+z [2]
v =x+y+z [1]

from [2] , [1] وبالطرح

2v-18 =0
v=18/2
{V=9}

so :red pens equals 9-8 = 1 red pen
red pens equals 9-6 = 3 blue pens
red pens equals 9-4 = 5 red pens
